Set consists of one performance part.
Composed in 2006, the principal idea behind this four-movement work for unaccompanied piccolo is to present the traditional rhythms of Puerto Rico. Each of the first three movements is based on a specific rhythm while the fourth is intended as a summary of the previous three.
