In this work, which is a clever combination of a strong Mozartean flavor with Latin American rhythms, the composer transforms the flutists into highly imaginative children who, through the course of the work, assume various personalities, role play and tell fascinating stories to one another.
Composed in 2000, it was premiered in Caracas by Venezuela’s national flute orchestra on June 24, 2012.
