Taking advantage of the wide range of timbrical and registration resources offered by the horn, “Triumphal March” presents a unique theme in four different moods: heroic, somber, meditative and festive. These kinds of “theatrical characters” constitute the four parts of the work and are linked together by short fragments of transition to become a single movement piece.
