Set consists of a performance score.
Written between late 2013 and early 2014, this piece for solo scordatura cello was one of the winning pieces of the first World Contest of Composition for Peace 2014 that was held through social networks.
The work begins in the low register, which at all times attempts to be avoided by a “protagonist” theme, which imploringly flees in upward movements but usually returns to its origin as way to musically represent the manner in which innocent people become “collateral damage.”
