Set includes a piano score and two parts.
The title of this work, “Duri Jari,” is a play on words but without meaning. The work, conceived for flute, bass clarinet and piano, is based on serial structures and plays with the contrasting timbral and agogic characteristics of the three instruments. In so doing, it creates an uncertain and unforeseeable atmosphere that is achieved through the distinct elements that make up the composition. It was premiered by Madrid’s PluralEnsemble in 2012 as part of the Ensemble Festival held in that city in 2012. The piece was also warmly received in Toledo, Zaragoza and Barcelona.
