Quintet for two oboes, oboe d’amore, English horn and baritone oboe.
Grade 4. Approx. duration: seven minutes.
Set includes a score and six parts (to use bassoon in substitution for baritone oboe).
Ebony's Concert was composed in January 2004 at the request of Werners Arocha for the wind ensemble Ebanos. The work is divided into two movements, both of which are contrapuntally elaborated. Since each movement can be performed independently, Pérez Valero suggests the following titles for the two movements: I.- Pastoral for happy moments. II.- Alla bulgara.
